This week we’re diving into productivity hacks that are going to help you work in the most efficient way possible: AKA making stuff happen!
So today I'm going to introduce you to the concept of working in productive time blocks, which simply means dividing your day into set blocks of time to focus single-mindedly on a specific task.
During this time there are to be zero distractions including email, social media, phone calls, etc.
Different time periods work for different people - the Pomodoro Technique is all about 25 minute blocks, while some people prefer to work in 60 minute blocks.
If you procrastinate and get distracted easily, then start with a shorter time block.
Set a timer so you keep yourself accountable and commit to working for the full block.

Using the timer is actually a great incentive - it’s like giving yourself a deadline you have to meet and find yourself aiming to finish things by the time the block is up!
