Focus on what you want


Your challenge at the beginning of this program was to set One Big Goal to achieve over 30 days and today I want to let you in on how a simple shift in your energy, beliefs and thought patterns are going to mean that you will achieve your goal no matter what.

You see, our energy is everything.

Like attracts like - think of yourself as a giant magnet: you attract everything to you that matches your energy field.

Your thoughts and feelings control what energy you send out into the world so whatever consumes these is what you will get.

So by directing our energy on things we don’t want (i.e. failure, worry, stress, anxiety about not achieving your goals) will only attract this negativity into our life and means we fail miserably at getting what it is we actually want.

By contrast, spending our energy envisioning achieving our goals; being successful and generally being awesome, we open ourselves up and start being receptive to achieving our desired success.

In short: focus your energy on what you WANT not what you DON’T WANT

There are 3 steps into practice so you can manifest your goal:

1. Every morning when you wake up, get yourself into the right mindset.

Do this by mentally affirming your goal and desires - here are some affirmations that I personally use:

  • I am a radiant being, enjoying life to the fullest. 
  • I am happy and grateful for everything I have in my life.
  • I am constantly energized by life’s possibilities.
  • I am energized and excited about the future I am creating for myself.
  • All the positive energies of the universe are flowing through me.

2. Create a vision board of what you want to achieve. 

This is a simple, but fun exercise. Grab a bunch of old magazines and start collecting images, words and quotes that inspire you and that you would love to manifest in your life.

If your goal is around money, then use images that signify to you what money and abundance look like.

If your goal is around health, you might want to use images that depict the kind of lifestyle that you're trying to create in your life.

Position your vision board somewhere visible to you so you can see it everyday. 

This, combined with your mindset and the positive actions you are taking towards your goal will begin imprinting in your mind the direction you're headed.

3. Be the energy you want to attract.

Spend your time generating the feelings of having what you want, now. And by this I mean, assume the confidence, fulfillment, happiness and success you will feel once you have reached your goal.

Feel into what you want.

If you want to attract more abundance - then start doing things that bring you the feeling of abundance. I know for me this means things like getting my hair done and wearing outfits that make me feel really good.

If you want to feel nourished, then start doing those things that make you feel nourished - whether it be taking a long bath or eating beautifully nourishing foods - identify what actions you can take that will align your energy with your desires.

Today's affirmation:

I am energized and excited about the future I am creating for myself.
